Do you love to write like me? Do you want to generate your own content? When are you creating your blog? Writing is so much fun, and stimulates your thinking.

Many of us go through so much experiences daily - we witness so many things and most of the time, we are right in the centre of such activities. So many things are happening to us, to our loved ones, to those close to us, in our environments, communities, and country and even beyond borders? It can be your birth day, a day you received good news, a present, a promotion, excelled and even when you learnt from the challenges you are facing. Have you thought of documenting such events, even just the positive ones, such as the difference you made in someone life? It can just be your gratitude list, things that you are grateful for, you appreciate and want to remmber.

Do you know that you can start writing down such thoughts by using the modern technology which is so overwhelming nowadays. The social network platforms are just so amazing and provides free opportunities such as the creation of blogs. And they are easy to crease and to use. Yes you need to understand the challenges the social network platforms pose, but the advantages are just as enormous.

I would like to encourage you to start your own blog today - you can start very small, i meant with very short stories as you practice how to write ..such content can be so useful to you and your loved ones - as long as it is personal attack free, not implicating any person, character assassinate another person and talk bad about others - not even write bad things about yourself. Your blog posts must be able to inspire your friends on facebook - and help make a difference in people's lives. Your small positive story could just bring the whole new life in the person who might end up reading it - in Namibia or around the world as the blog gives you access to the international followers.

When I was doing my web 2.0 for development training course in late January - I learnt that on african content online was basically about 4%, with 3% belonging to a single african country. This data tells us that we - africans need to do more to contribute to content development on the web. In other words, as much as I enjoy expressing myself in writing - sharing my limited knowledge and experience with friends and family, I am also contributing to the african content on the web.

And yu too can do it - you have access to the internent, your have the hardwards, which including the smart phones, PC, laptops etc - and you have the content based on your day to day experience. You also know how to write and arranged the thoughts in a particular order. So, what are you waiting for my friend - think deep, and think writing - think about putting thoughts on your post - on your blog and you will be joining the rest of the bloggers in the world - for free... yes, for free my dear...

So, next time, I check content from Africa, I would love to ready about your own content, up close and personal - experience writing - it's fun and intellectually stimulating.
