1. The country's spectacular sun-rise.

Have you made a deliberate effort to watch the sun rise one morning? Those beautiful colours - I don't even want to mention those different shades, they are so pleasant and cool. I often make a deliberate effort to watch the sun rise especially near the Hosea Kutako International Airport - an entry point for most visitors to our Land.

2. The country's sun set

Recently, just when I was coming from work, I made time to watch the sun set - so great - and at times I wanted to compare the beauty between sun rise and sun set - and I just realized, each scene and setting has its unique beauty.

Do you know that in some countries - nationals there hardly see the sun rise or sun set because of amongst others, the weather conditions? Therefore, we have to appreciate what we have. We do not need to pay a cent  or make use of extra energy to watch the sun rise or sun set, it is for free.. And you can witness from the comfort of your own environement.

3.Rain bow

Have you tried to look carefully at the rain bow during the rainy season, those different, perfectly arranged colours? Violet is my special colour. Yeah, that's one of Namibian wonders, accessible for free.

4. Dark Skies

Many of those who are aware and appreciate the "milky lane", "constellations" and star-gazing happen during the "dark-skies" periods. How many of us - especially in Namibia make time to love the stars by watching them, even when we are on our farms or in the villages, far from city lights? I am not talking about the meteorite (smile) that has fallen in the northern town of Grootfontein or the one that dropped in a mahangu (millet land) in Northern Namibia recently.  I am referring to real stars that boast unique round lights at night.

All those wonders mean so much to nature lovers - many of whom come to Namibia to experience those.

And there is a lot I can refer to at the moment - but I want to save you time to think deep about some of the free, available, beauty scenes our country is blessed with. They are right in our midst - and we just need to open our eyes and see those - learn to love them and make them part of our relations and existence.

I have not even touched on the naturally spectacular arranged sands at the coast (dunes) or Sossusvlei, the Grand River Canyon, The Brukaros Mountains, Omukwa tree in the northern part of Namibia (Omusati Region) with a space in its stem which was amongst other used as the prisoners interrogating cell, a church etc.. and many more...

Let's wake up and realize the value nature has offered to us in the form of travel adventure and all.

Enjoy Namibia's beauty with me.
