The World Governance Order - what's actually happening? Where to? Who is supposed to manage this "Global Village Governance Order?

"It's a Global Village or It's a Small World ", partly meaning we all seem to be in the same world village or same small world and somehow interdependent when it comes to the any effects/impacts on this world village of ours. This expression drove me to think about writing this post - just to expression my thoughts after having closely followed some world governance developments in the world.

Another expression I would like to cite is that from one local (Namibian) musician, The Dogg who titled one of his albums or song, "you can't ignore"... and while this particular musician was referring to his music and brand, I would like to borrow that expression and apply it to the current world governance order developments.

I would like to say that we as inhabitants of the world, and nationals of various Sovereign States can also not ignore what is happening in the world - and it will definitely have an impact on all of us and our governments in one way or another.

I am sure you are following the issue of the political situation in Kieve, Ukraine, Thailand, Venezuela, Syria and many other world spots - and many more including Sudan, Central Africa Republic, Somalia, Egypt to mention but some of them. I am not going to dig into the root causes or factors that lead to these uprisings. Yes, it is always important to know why we see what we are seeing (if I have to put this in a lay person's language).

But, my question is - what is happening to the world governance stability and peace and security? What are the threats and probably possible good lessons from such global village trouble spots challenges? Whos is actually supposed to manage that earth political developments? Yes, I am aware that we have the United Nation as an overall body to encourage peace and stability in various countries, but as you know, the UN is a good will set up --meaning that it respects sovereignty of various countries too - just like the African Union  does.

But, do you know how much of structural and property damage and loss of lives that come along with such challenges although some see it as also bringing along renewal at various levels, mainly the political structures? As I followed the various international news channels, I heard about a five year old who was accompanying the parent to a market but got killed in the Thailand uprising - and that many other kids also got injured in the process even though they were not part of the demonstrators but I guess found themselves in the cross fire. This is just an example, there is so much cost attached to these challenges, but I do also understand that those initiativing these actions must have been under some type of difficulties and opted to find a solution in a different way. We have also seen the aftermath of such actions.

In Kieve, Ukraine, those following international news heard that the parliament has voted to relieve the seating President of his duties - but President Viktor Yanukovych said he would not resign and neither leave the country as he was elected through legal means. The same partliament also approved the release of former Prime Minister, also refeered to as the World's Most Beautiful Politician Julia Tymoschenko from prison where she has been after corruption allegations were levelled against her in 2009. During this process, a lot of lives have also been lost - and damage to the face of the city in terms of properties and all could not be averted.

These developments continue across the world, and you can cite examples from each politically troubled spot - from Venuezela to - Africa's latest country to gain independence, South Sudan -Central Afrcan Republic to Somalia and the list is endless..

Again, I am not questioning the reasons why such developments end up in our faces - and why those involved seemed to opt for such action -- indeed that is important and that will be my other topic to interrogate... but the question is - with these global village challenges at our world door step - what are we doing to restore the earth peace and stability? I am sure we are enjoying our peace and stability at the local level - as in individual countries - but since we are the world citizens, we must also be worried about our world peace. This is because of potential consequences of such mass actions -- like potential refugees influx to neighbouring countries - and cost to feed, house, medically care for them and overal management of such situation - children growing up in the buffer zones instead of houses or countries they call motherland...just like me and you.....children growing up not knowing peace - not going to school - which has a negative impact on their future...

Again, what is happening to our world governance order? What is wrong with our global village peace? Who will management that? I believe you and me have a critical role to play too, for instance but ensuring that we find amicable solutions in facing various communities and nations in our various countries. It is mostly unresolved problems that result in stale mates and therefore bigger situations to handle.

Namibia is for instance also struggling to find a solution to the killing of women at the hands of their lovers/husbands/spouses/boyfriends and ex-intimate friends which seems to be frequently making headlines. And finding a solution right now could prevent the problem from growing bigger and get out of hand. That's what I mean by trying to also contribute to solution findings to various challenges in our countries - and that can be at any level, public services, transport, water and electricity, unemployment - and many more - your proposal could just make a difference to the whole country....

Most of the time, we sit on the fence, complain, raise concerns, but hardly try and give suggestions and proposals to particular problems - yes, you probably say at times our ideas are not considered - yes, there might be such situation, but you have to be persistant to advance a potential solution, taking it to the relevant people who have to consider and implement it - i tmight be a challenge on its own, but you will be suprised that it might just work in the end.

Cry the beloved individual countries facing political and governance challenges, cried the beloved "global village's peace and stability in some of the village spots".
